Attached is correspondence from Tommy Cansler, TCCI Land Development, Inc., dated March 8, 2013, requesting to appeal the Planning & Zoning Commission's denial of this request.
 
Please be advised that given the Commission's recommendation for denial, a ¾ vote of Council (6 out of 7) is required to approve this request.
 
Staff Recommendation:
On May 14, 2013, City Council continued the public hearing to the June 11, 2013, meeting at the applicant's request.
 
On March 26, 2013, City Council opened and continued the public hearing to the May 14, 2013, meeting at the applicant's request.
 
On February 21, 2013, the Planning Commission unanimously recommended denial of this ZONING CHANGE as submitted (6-0).  Commissioners Goodale, Robinson, Haas, Sangerhausen, Darling and Portman voted in favor to deny; none opposed.
 
The Planning Department recommends DENIAL as submitted.
