Summary
The agreement with Gallagher Construction would provide Program Manager Services for the construction of Fire Station 4, relocation of Fire Station 1 and the Fire Resource Storage Facility. The management services would include preliminary budgets, cost reviews, submittal reviews, pay application and change order approvals, two day/week site visits, and close out documentation, based on Design/Construction of 24 months.
Fiscal Impact:
The cost breakdown would include $240,500.00 for Fire Station 4 and the Fire Resource Storage Facility as well as $162,500.00 for Fire Station 1 relocation. The total fiscal impact would be $403,000.00. The funds for this contract were part of the 2018 Bond issue.
Staff Recommendation:
The Fire Department recommends approval.
