Summary
• June 9, 2026 - Crime Control and Prevention District Budget is presented, and the Public Hearing is held. Budget is adopted by the CCPD board.
• August 1, 2026 - Notice that the City Council will hold a Public Hearing during its scheduled meeting as the overall governing body
• August 11, 2026 - City Council will hold a Public Hearing and consider approval of the Fiscal Year 2026-2027 Crime Control and Prevention District budget in accordance with Chapter 363 of the Texas Local Government Code.
• September 8, 2026 -City Council adopts the City’s Annual Operating Budget, which includes the CCPD budget previously approved on August 11.
