Consider approval of the Seventh Amended and Restated Interlocal Cooperations Agreement by and between the City of Coppell and Denton County Transportation Authority to provide transportation services for Coppell businesses; and authorizing the Mayor to sign.
Summary
Ridership through the Work Hard, Get A Lyft program has continued to increase each year. The ridership numbers for FY26 have exceeded the original projections; therefore, staff believes the ridership projections and costs should be increased for the remainder of the three-year contract. This amended contract increases the total maximum not to exceed amount for a period of three years.
Fiscal Impact:
An amount not-to-exceed $370,522 over a three-year period. Fiscal years 2026 and 2027 each have $50,000 included in the General Fund budget for the respective years. The difference will be included in a budget amendment for each respective fiscal year.
