Consider adoption of an Ordinance of the City Council of the City of Coppell, Texas amending Chapter 12, “Zoning”, Article 25, “Light Industrial District,” to add “concrete batching plant (temporary)” to permitted uses, and to remove “technology equipment facility” from permitted uses within the Light Industrial District; and, to amend Article 30, “S or SUP, Special Use Permits”, Section 12-30-12 “LI Light Industrial,” to require Special Use Permits for “cryptocurrency mining facility” and “data center” uses; and, to amend Article 42, “Special Definitions,” to add definitions for “cryptocurrency mining facility” and “data center”, and to remove the definition for “technology equipment facility” in said article, and authorizing the Mayor to sign.
