Summary
Attached is correspondence from Greg Yancey, dated April 20, 2015, requesting to appeal the Planning & Zoning Commission's denial of this request.
 
Please be advised that given the Commission's recommendation for denial, a ¾ vote of Council (6 out of 7) is required to approve this request.
 
Staff Recommendation:
On April 16, 2015, the Planning Commission recommended denial of this ZONING CHANGE (6-1).  Commissioners Williford, Sarma, Robinson, Haas, Darling and Blankenship voted in favor; Commissioner Portman voted in opposition.
 
On March 19, 2015, the Planning Commission held under advisement and continued the public hearing to the April 16, 2015, meeting (6-0).
 
The Planning Department recommends DENIAL.
