Summary
The original design for the renovation of the Library included a canopy trellis to provide shade to an outdoor seating area at the front of the building. The construction of this trellis was postponed in order to keep project costs within budgeted amounts. However, effective management of resources throughout the construction period yielded cost savings at the end of the project that are sufficient to provide for the construction of the trellis.
