Summary
City Council previously approved a First Amendment to Civic Center Agreement for Plaza Lodging, LLC for the Springhill Suites. This Amendment Agreement extends the required deadline for Completion of Construction for the Springhill Suites. The first extension was necessary due to changes in design and materials, which delayed the start of construction, and this extension is due to COVID-19 and a shortage of labor and materials. The new Completion of Construction date is set at September 30, 2023, through this agreement.
