Consider approval of a Resolution ordering a Special Election to be held on November 8, 2022, to reauthorize the local sales and use tax at a rate of one-fourth (1/4) of one percent to continue providing revenue for maintenance and repair of municipal streets or sidewalks for a four (4) year period; and to reauthorize the local sales and use tax at a rate of one-fourth (1/4) of one percent to continue providing crime reduction programs for a ten (10) year period; and authorizing the Mayor to sign and execute a Joint Election Agreement with Dallas and Denton counties.
